A satirical comic in full color on newsprint, featuring four scenes. First panel: An attractive but casually dressed teenage girl is sitting cross-legged on top of her made-up bed, with a laptop. Her head is turned toward her open bedroom door. A hallway is outside the door. Her live-in grandmother, approximately age 68, is passing by the teen’s open door. The teen says: “Where ya going, Nana?” Nana replies “Yoga class at the senior center”. In the second panel, the same teenage girl is sitting on a sofa in a living room gaming, this time dressed in different clothing on a different day. Looking over the teen’s shoulder there is a TV on the wall facing the sofa and on the right we see a fireplace next to the front door, through which Nana has entered. The teen says: “Where have you been, Nana?” Nana replies, looking cheery: “Coffee with friends.” In the third panel, the teenage girl is sitting at an island in the kitchen in the late afternoon, looking bored. She is wearing a black sweatshirt emblazoned with a single heart while scrolling on her phone. Her Nana walks past carrying a purse and dressed in an attractive red dress. The teen says: “You’re not staying for dinner, Nana?” Nana replies: “Nope. Got a hot date!”. In the fourth and final panel, the teenager has placed her phone down on the island and is now looking up with an expression of consternation. “Nana, how is it you get more dates than I do?” Nana’s back is now to the teen as she opens the door to head out. Her reply: “I leave the house.” Conceptual credit for this AI-assisted cartoon: SocialCritic.us
